2007FP (S-IPS). "Water marks" along the edge of the screen. (LCD delamination?)

In August 2007 I have purchased Dell 2007 FP in Russia. Monitor is confirmed S-IPS version (angles and "L" symbol in S/N) and made in Czech rep. Yesterday I found dark "watermarks" or "leakings" along the top edge of monitor screen. There were no water or vapor near the monitor for the whole time of operation, so I can't determine the cause clearly. But there are some reports in internet, saying that some of LGP/LGD IPS LCDs tend to delaminate during usage period and this situation is for Warranty rapair/replacement. Do I have any hope to repair/replace this monitor/LCD screen ? Is 3 year warranty active in Russia? It seems in USA and worldwide this model has 3 year warranty. But I had nothing except PC-store receipt and packaging box when I purchased It. The retaler said that the warranty is based on receipt and S/N and today (after a 1.5 year) that retaler is already out of bussiness. (The photo with comment is attached)

I can't comment on your warranty situation in terms of Russia: Have you contacted tech support to confirm the validity of your warranty?

I can confirm though that I had three LCDs replaced because of this issue, a 2001FP and two 2007FPs: all were under warranty and I had no prblem getting replacements. This is a known issue with the S-IPSs used in 2001FPs and 2007FPs.

If tech support can confirm that your warranty is valid, I don't think you you should have any problem.

Good luck.
