Dell Comand Intel vPro Out of Band CA Requirement?

If using an AMT certificate from a trusted CA, do we still need to have a Certificate Authority on premise? In the Remote Provisioning Configuration, it detects one from our domain, but we do not want to use it and there is no option to skip it.
