Dell XPS 13 Plus webcam not working uder Linux
XPS 13 Plus 9320
this has been posted before, but none of the solutions online did work for me (including this one from official dell support: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-uk/000203830/webcam-is-not-detected-on-xps-13-plus-9320-laptops-running-ubuntu-22-04 )
Essentially the webcam used to work just fine (not with Cheese, but with all other software such as MS Teams and Zoom), but recently stopped and I am getting a bit desperate as none of the solutions seems to work and I don't know what to try next or what to do to better diagnose the problem.
Currently, I have Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS installed, and the kernel is 6.2.0-33-generic.

To give more information, I have tried also kernels 6.1.55-060255-generic but still not working.
However, the webcam works fine when when I boot Windows OS, so it's not an hardware issue.

I have also tried a few more kernels going back up to 5.* and newest ones up to 6.5* with no success

I also have the same problem! I've tried several things and nothing works.

@matteli this solved the problem for me, at least using my webcam with MS Teams: https://askubuntu.com/a/1425167
