Can a Dell Inspiron 3585 connect perfectly with an ultra wide curved monitor?
Can a Dell Inspiron 3585 connect perfectly with an ultra wide curved monitor (e.e. the 49 inch Odyssey OLED G9 curved monitor)? My Inspiron 3585 has a HDMI port and 2 USB ports. Thanks.

With the system having only HDMI 1.4, the max resolution on an external screen will be 4K at 30 Hz, So, while it will work, you won't get anywhere near the resolution and refresh rate that monitor is capable of.

@ejn63 Many thanks for your prompt reply - this is so helpful and just what I wanted to know. I'll buy a new desktop and connect that to it instead and I'll keep my laptop for use away from home. Have a great week!
