BIOS error

Latitude 5300

Latitude 5300

This machine will not finish BIOS boot.  Displays Dell Logo and nothing else.  pressing F12 displays "Preparing one-time boot menu" and nothing else.
How can I recover/reload BIOS?  I've tried the Pwr On while holding CTRL and Esc.  No change in symptom.
I've removed the batter and tried CTRL Esc and no change

If still under warranty, contact Dell tech support. Have your Service Tag handy (don't post it here).

Are you trying to boot with/without the power adapter connected?

What happens if you try to boot with a bootable USB with either the Win 10 or Win 11 installer on it (depending on which you have)?

Create the USB on any Windows PC and plug it into PC with power fully off. With AC adapter connected and plugged into wall, power PC on and tap F12 to see if you can access the menu and select  option to boot from USB. If it boots, look for Troubleshooting>Start Up options and follow the prompts.
