Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Stop Working

I have an Inspiron N5110 and use Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.  often the keyboard runs slow, misses characters and doesn't respond.  Sometimes mouse and keyboard completely stop working and require reboot.  I assume this has something to do with the USB port.  Is there a known issue with USB that would cause this?  As a side note I also was using a displaylink docking station that stopped working correctly as well (speakers stopped working through dock).Docking station was USB driven.

Hi RobertMac46,

Welcome to the Community. I suggest you update the chipset driver and the USB 3.0 host Controller driver and if that does not fix it update your Bios, below are the links. Let us know if it worked. The chipset driver, and the USB host controller driver is under Chipset.

Hope this helps.

Thank You
