Windows Task Manager

How do I enable/disable the Windows Task Manager?  I don't know how but I somehow disabled it and I want to enable it again so it works.
Thanks

At the time i wrote that post, whenever i pressed control + alt + delete, to bring up the task manager, a box came up that told me something along the lines of task manager has been disabled by administrator.  However, that is not the case now, now when i try to bring it up it tells me that it has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Anything I can do?
Thanks

I have the same problem with the task manager.  Somehow some adware might have disabled it and I cannot enable it again.  If anyone has any idea on how to enable task manager, any sugfgestions would be greatly appreciated.

When you try to bring up the task manager and it says it was “disabled by administrator” follow this path and delete “task manager disabled” in the system folder.  Reboot computer and the task manager will be enabled again.

I called and talked with MicroSoft to get this info. I fixed my problem last week.
