Waves Pop Up doesn't appear anymore

I have some headphones that I bought like 3 months ago, and always that I inserted them in the audio jack it will always pop a notification of Waves asking what I was plugging in. My cousin has installed 360 Total Security so one day I clicked in one option that makes my computer boot up faster so since that day the Pop of Waves that asked me what I was plugging in never appeared (but I still can hear music, videos, etc in my headphones) but in other computers yes, so I don't know what to do. And when I open Waves MaxxAudio Pro and I go to dimension for headphones it tells me that I have to plug some headphones to work but I have some headphones plugged in. In the Image below you can see the pop up I'm talking about, since that day the pup up never appeared again and it sounds different but in other computers no. Help Me Please

If you open the Waves MaxxPro user interface, there should be an option for the popup in the Advanced section.

If you can't right click the icon on the Taskbar and open then check the apps listing and open it that way.

If your UI does not look like the attachment you may need to update or reinstall the driver.

I think your version is more updated than mine because is the same UI because in advanced section I got other 3 options that are not the "Show pop-up" and were you have the microphone I got other image

Did you find a fix? I have the exact same issue and it is extremely frustrating. I've tried reinstalling and the popup actually comes up during the reinstall process but won't show once the process is complete.

The audio sounds terrible without it and I can't select my headphone mic.

What you see on the Advanced options does depend on which version of the driver installed and it is not always easy to install the driver you want to.

For now, what version are you showing for the Realtek driver in Device Manager and is it the latest for your system?

My process for installing an audio driver is to first download the driver so you have access.  Then go offline and complete the uninstall.

To uninstall, select the device in Device Manager and select uninstall and check the box to uninstall all drivers.  Once that is complete you may be able to check for new devices and the driver will be replaced.  If the replacement is a Windows driver and not Realtek you can continue with the install, all the time being offline.  If it still shows a Realtek version, uninstall again and check.

Once the uninstall is completed you can uninstall the downloaded version.  When that is complete, confirm the correct version ha been installed.

Now you can go back online and the driver should not be automatically replaced.  Other than checking Programs and Features to see if any Waves software is showing there,  Other than that, I don't have any other suggestions.

Booting a system with the headset plugged in allows the system to see it and possibly select the correct device.  Since the drivers have been going through some modifications and my current driver version is 8233 but this may depend entirely on your system.

You should be able to choose a device in the Advanced section if the popup does not happen, unless the driver is not installed correctly.  Earlier versions of the driver did not have the option to choose a device...

My version of the Realtek Audio is 6.0.1.7989, but I think like two weeks I go I opened 360 Security and went to the boot up thing and I deselected everything and then I restarted my laptop and when I plugged in my headphones the pop up appeared but the sound sounded really, really bad like if there was a rumble then I opened 360 again selected everything restarted my laptop again but this time the pop up never appeared again but the sound was good now
