Vertical lines on monitor screen
Images from my year-old monitor's camera have six very thin vertical lines, running top of the screen to the bottom, each a single color. System is XPS 8700, monitor is Dell UltraSharp 23" Multimedia Monitor, camera is UZ2315H. Using an external camera eliminates the problem.
Any suggestions on how I can fix this would be much appreciated.

If you have another system to try, see if the monitor causes problems with that system. If it does, the camera or cable inside the display is likely bad. If not, and the camera connects to the PC through a USB cable, try a different USB cable or USB port - if you still see the same result, the camera is bad. Cheapest solution is to use a different camera. Otherwise, it's likely the monitor needs to be replaced.
