power connector for ac adapter

Where can i purchase the connector on the back of the laptop that the ac adapter plugs into?  The only way I can get my laptop to boot is to press down on the adapter when its in the connector.  If iit comes loose, I lose the connection and have to start over.

Many others with this laptop have the same problem.  I don't want to buy a new motherboard, just this connector.

the laptop is an Inspiron  5160.  It has windows xp and I don't want to switch to a different laptop because I don't like Vista.

BTW, I just recently purchased a new Dell Inspiron 1525. It had Vista on it, but I wiped the hard drive clean, and installed windows XP on it.

If you are talking about the DC power jack on the motherboard, you can get them for about $10 (US) on ebay.

They can be a bit tricky to install, and you will need to take the laptop completely apart, and remove the motherboard to replace the jack.
