My Keyboard makes noise when I hit a key-- Please help, its very annoying

I recently had to have the c-drive and the mother board of my Inspiron 2200 replaced, and now everything is working again, but there is this horribly annoying sound that comes from the speakers every time I type or hit a key. I don't know too much about computers, but if someone could tell me very simply how to fix this I would be greatful.
