Lost use of function keys to shut off touchpad
I had to reinstall a new hard drive on inspiron 14r and reinstall operating systems and drivers. All seems fine but I can not shut off the touchpad with function keys. Does anyone know what driver I need to reinstall or program?

It depends on the model of 14r that you have but it is either going to be Dell Quickset and the touch pad drivers themselves. I also suggest checking the BIOS, just start the system tapping F12 an choose bios, looking under the advanced tab, function key behavior and toggle between multimedia key or function key.
If you continue to have problems please reply with the version of 14r and I will be happy to look up the driver files.
