laptop memory upgrade

Gents,
I have an INSPIRON 4000 with the following config:
Inspiron 4000 Mobile Pentium (R) III - 850 / 700 Mhz
Level 2 cache - 256KB
System Memory 128MB,
Video Controller ATI M3
Video Memory 8 MB
Audio Controller ESS Maestro 3
Hard Drive 60 GB
OS: Win ME

I would like to watch movies via the internet (broadband connection), browse the internet while multiple browser windows are open simultaneously, read various e-newspapers available on the internet.
I am unable to do on my laptop since either the system is very slow or I get an error "insufficient memory / resource available"
Not sure which memory I need to upgrade to mitigate the above mentioned problem.
Your help in this regard will be appreciated
Cheers

Needs low-density PC100 or PC133 soDIMMs, max 2X256.

That and an upgrade to Windows 2000 or XP will help immensely.

Note: buy 4000-spec RAM for this system. If you buy generic memory, it'll likely be high density and won't work.
