Laptop is becoming too hot while charging

The battery backup is not that good.... while charging the laptop it is becoming too hot and thus i am not able to have it on my lap or either on desk because the the hot air is coming towards me....i am very disappointed with this problem.....

 

is anyone can help me out with this problem....please..

You shouldn't be using it in your lap to begin with - if you've done that for any length of time, the heatsink is probably covered in lint.

What model system?  How old is it?  Is the fan running properly?

Hi thanks for your reply...the model is dell-inspiron-n5010..it is very new one. got it very recently...six months old...and very rarely i use it..fan is working properly but not sure with the heatsink covered in lint..how should i do that..i want to give the laptop for service..
