Laptop adapter light in front of computer
Hello
Should that light be on all the time? I have noticed it to be off for 2 days, and today when i plugged the adaptor the light came back on, but i have seen the light off a few times with the adaptor plugged.
I was wondering if that little white light should be on all the time,

May I know the system model? Does the system power on without the battery.

Hello
Thank-you for taking time for me.
I have a dell laptop inspiron17r.
The little white light comes off when the battery is charged to 100%. If my battery gets down to 50% (which means my adaptor was not plugged) then when i do plug my adaptor the light comes on. What did mix me up was my old laptop charge or not the light was always on, so now i'm wondering if the light being off is normal when fully charged. tks again.

There are several lights in the front. May I know which specific light you are talking about? If possible arrange for the picture of the same.

Hello
Tks for answering. Ok the blinking lite is ok and it is the 2nd one from the left. I'm talking about the 3rd light,the adaptor lite.The lite that comes on when you plug your adaptor to charge the battery
