i need help with unlocking BIOS setup password
i have purchased a dell latitude 520 and need to change the boot order, but this is locked.
how can i remove that unlock setup password?

Call Dell. You will need to prove ownership (if this was a used system, have the owner transfer the registration into your name). Dell will generate a system-specific master password for you.
Note: if the system is out of warranty, there is a charge for this -- the only other solution is to replace the mainboard.

On a Dell laptop the only way to reset or clear a password is to contact Dell. Be prepaired to have some sort of prof that you are the legal owner of the system

If you forget any of your passwords, contact your system administrator or contact Dell (see Contacting Dell)
