help with the fingerprint sensor

i just got a dell lattitude e6400 service tag<ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>

 i have been try to get the sensor to work i reloaded it and put windows 7 64bit on it   i am not show how to fix it i download the dell controll point and install it then it say firmware is out dated coded someone help me set nit up
