Dell XPS L502X Battery bay Screw striped
The screw present inside the battery bay got striped and now I can't access the hard disk and cmos area because only if that screw is removed the palm rest can be removed. Is there any safe way of removing the striped screw?

Hi Bhuvanesh K R,
Try and get under the screw and cut the head, use pliers to unscrew the rest.You can also try a pair of ViceGrips.

If the screw head isn't that badly rounded (stripped as you say) then put an elastic / rubber band over the screwdriver head, push firmly into screw head and attempt to undo the screw.
Or, use a Dremel tool to cut a slot in the head and use a slotted / flat screwdriver. B careful you don't damage the plastic casing and shield any ports or holes with tape to prevent filings entering the laptop.
