Dell XPS 9530 and 4K external monitor
Hi there,
I have a top tier XPS 9530 (Late 2013 Model) and I just bought a Dell UP2414Q monitor and I'm trying to use it as an external display when connected to the XPS.
I'm not sure what kind of settings I should change, but I've set the UP2414Q to output using a DisplayPort 1.2, but I'm still not able to make it work on the full 3840x2160 resolution (not at 30Hz, nor 60Hz).
Could anyone help me with this?

Okay, I've found a solution, which is deleting the current Intel 4600 driver by going to [Device Manager -> Display adapters-> Intel HD Graphics 4600 -> (Right Click) -> Uninstall]
Then Installing the newest Intel 4600 driver shown on this page. In my case, the new driver was version 10.18.10.3960
Now my XPS 9530 is able to drive a 4K external monitor (in my case with the Dell UP2414Q), using DisplayPort 1.2 at 3840x2160 and 60Hz.

I've found this Knowledge Base article but regarding the M3800 (which almost has the same hardware as the XPS 9530) and the UP2414Q, but since the M3800 has a different nVidia graphic card, I don't think this solution would work in my situation

You wrote, "Device Manager -> Uninstall -> Delete driver software". Are you saying you opened Device Manager- Display adapters. Then right clicked Intel HD Graphics, clicked Uninstall?

Yes, that's what I meant.
I'll fix that, thanks for noting that :)
