Can't play music CDs

After installing Norton Ghost software, I can't play music cds using Media Player 9.  The player recognizes the cd, it lists the artist and the song titles but will not play the music.  I get a pop up window that says it can't play digitally try analog.  I try analog and it won't play either.  Sound and volume are working fine and I can play music using Media Player 9 from the hardrive.

I've tried uninstalling Norton Ghost, unchecking and re-checking music cds in Media Player.  Anyone have a suggestion?

p13,

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.

Are these music cds burnt copies (of music you already have) or are they original music cds?
