65 W AC Power Adapter question.
Hello:
The small golden piece of metal inside the tip of the AC Power Adapter snapped off.
When I start up the computer, it gives me a blue screen stating it doesn't recognize the power source.
Is it possible to run the computer without that little piece of metal?
What is the purpose of that little piece of metal?

Hi,
It is not possible to use the AC Adapter without the golden metal tip. Please replace the AC Adapter with a new one.
Please reply if you have any questions.

What is the purpose of that little piece of golden metal?
Can it be repaired? OR is getting a new one the only solution?
