Do we have any option to scan the data and archive anything more than 30 days in Isilon file share .

Hi Team ,

Do we have any option to scan the data and archive anything more than 30 days in Isilon file share .

I was checking with Dell it seems they will not support any data Archival .

Do we have any options ? scripts or any third party tools to scan the data and delete them the files /folders older than 30 days

do you want to delete or archive ? Two very different things !

If you want to delete, a simple unix find > 30 days piped to mv /dev/null will suffice, if y0ou want to archive, then thats a whole different ball game.

If you have an s3 target system have you looked into cloudpools? as that will archive off all the data and leave a tiny smartlinked file behind

@cadencep45 Can you send me the complete command if I wanted to delete the files/folders older than 30 days from /ifs/temp folder.

I am not looking to delete files from one single folder. I have 100s of folders and millions of files inside the file share. So, my question is to validate last modified folder or files for older than 30 days and delete them all.
