USB C and HDMI
I have a 2018 Dell G7 and have been using the USB C and HDMI port for 2 27-inch Dell monitors without issues. However, since yesterday, I have only been able to use either one of the ports and not use them simultaneously. Does anyone have ideas on what is causing the issue?

What do your Windows display settings look like, are they set to "extend these displays?" Are you using a dock or the little USB-C to HDMI adapter (about the size of a phone charger)? Which G7 do you have, the 7588?
I had a lot of trouble with the little USB-C to HDMI adapter. One problem was similar to yours, and I finally got the D19S dock, which solved all those problems, including the annoying USB out-of-resources issue. I have the XPS 15 9520, so I am unsure if that dock will play well with your G7. Is there a friend who has a universal USB-C dock to test on your G7?
Looking up the Dell G7, it looks to have only 1 HDMI port, so you must have a USB-C to HDMI adapter, right?
Does pressing fn+F8 kays do anything for you?
And also, I must ask, are your drivers updated blah blah blah? (you know the drill)
