the laptop turns down the sound itself
Dell G7 17 7700
When playing sound in YT (Edge, Chrome), VLC or any other application, after 1-2 minutes the sound mutes itself to a very low level. More in Windows 11 and less in Windows 10, but it still happens. I changed the Realtek driver, turned off the microphones, turned off the volume when a conversation was detected - nothing helps. This is terribly irritating. Dell G7-7700

Check the default communication device, and go to properties and disable any automatic volume adjustment settings, or check sound enhancements on or off.
