Regarding replacement of motherboard with CPU.
Hello there. Recently, I tried to update my BIOS and it failed (I don't know why. Been doing it for 2 years now, never happened. I never remove the AC adapter). I took it to a local store and they said that the cpu got shorted as well. I was wondering if anyone could help me with the estimated price of the replacement of the motherboard with the CPU.

Anywhere from $100 to over $1000 depending on the model of system and CPU aboard.
If you want a more precise answer, include the system model number.
