Power adapter LED light turns off when turning on laptop
My power adapter is 65W LA65NS2-01. With it plugged to my Dell laptop off the adapter LED is on but when switching on the laptop the adapter light goes off until I unplug it from wall outlet and plug back in. What's wrong with the adapter?
FYI my laptop works well with another good Dell adapter.

If your laptop works well with other adapter, the original adapter has a short in it and should not be used further to prevent damage to your laptop.
