Losing charging under load

Hi. There is a strange issue. Under load my laptop loses a charging possibility for a second then continues to charge and then do the same in a loop. This is really annoying. What is the issue? Power adapter is new, less than 1 day using. The same issue was also with the old (original) one.video_2023-01-26_22-14-03.gif

If so, and you've already tried a replacement OEM adapter and power jack, that leaves the system board as the faulty part.

You will need  a new mainboard.

Also note.. The original adapter after 2 years of using has got a transformer issue (as the service said) and it is overheated to ~90-95C so I have decided to solder cooling, so it is strange but the main issue was partially solved

How much charge does the battery have at this point?

Note that many of the Dell G-series and Alienware systems do tap the battery under high load, even on AC power -- it is very possible that if the system load is high, that the battery will not simultaneously charge.

The setup is called Dell Hybrid Power -- the battery is drawn when the system needs the extra power.

Well.. maybe so. Sadly, but I can check that only in a one-two month

But what about a "cooling" described in a previous post?

Next suspect would be a faulty DC jack.

100%, but the issue is that it is losing charging possibility, what means with plugged adapter laptop thinks that it is not plugged and constantly switches between Charging and Battery modes.

So.., laptop has a new jack and the problem is still the same
Any advices?

I'm sure I have selected a model when I created a post..
I have a G3 15 3579

What about soldered cooling, yes it makes no sense but somehow it works.

Yes, the system clearly indicates that AC adapter is disconnected as it is disconnected for real

It isn't clear from your posts there is anything wrong with the system at all.  You've given no information about the system model, and you're posting cryptic information about "solder cooling" that make no sense.

If this is a gaming system (G-series or "Inspiron Gaming") it's normal for the charging to pause under heavy load, as I indicated earlier.

If the system clearly indicates the AC adapter is disconnected at the same time, then you have an issue.  If it does not, you do not and the system is operating as it was designed to do.
