Issues with the keyboard of a Dell Inspiron 15 3000

As of yesterday, if I'm in a document and I press the backspace key it will just keep deleting until I press a different key

I thought it was just Google docs so I opened Google docs on a different web browser.

Same issue.

So I ditched docs altogether and used word

But still the same thing.

Any ideas why?

I removed the Key from the keyboard and cleaned under it then popped everything back in correctly but still the same thing.
