Inspiron 3593 - On Battery PC slows down drastically

Hi. I have been facing an issue with the laptop when it is on battery.

When plugged in the PC runs really smooth and has no issues at all. But when the PC is on battery, it is so slow. Even videos when played drags. I don't play any games on the laptop, but on battery it literally slows down.

Also, please note - that I had replaced the battery of the laptop. The battery being delivered by the service centre of Dell had given only 90 days of warranty, for which I thought I will buy a replacement battery from amazon. I bought the battery on 2022.

Below I have attached a video, and wanted to know if this is normal - the CPU frequency drops when switched from Power Adapter mode to Battery Mode - when I unplug the adapter.

Also is anyone aware about Throttlestop - the "EDP Other" keeps on blinking. Is this normal.

I havent throttled anything with the software, but read from some forums to check BD PROCHOT might be linked with battery replaced which might be slowing down the laptop on battery.

Can someone help me with this issue.

Has this started lately or after you installed the other battery? Since the battery is 2 years old and probably not a Dell OEM battery I would guess that the battery is not supplying the power required when the system calls for it.

@JOcean - Its been like this for a while, but wasn't serious about it.

What do you feel - should I try a battery replacement.

Wouldnt a battery test or a software let me know on the battery power. The wear level on the battery I can notice is 4% only when I checked with one the software installed.
