Inspiron 15 3576, no recognizing genuine battery

Hi,

The battery that came with my laptop completely died a few weeks ago. I have another laptop of the same model (with a dead motherboard). I took the battery from it, but this laptop says "Not a Dell battery."

It is really weird because it is definitely genuine, and it worked with the other laptop before it died.

I tried resetting (with a complete discharge), updating the BIOS, and cleaning the contacts on the motherboard side.

Dell does not sell a battery for this model anymore, and "copy" batteries are, of course, not recognized in the same way.

Do you have any other suggestions besides switching to a different laptop?
