Cannot Pair PN5122W With Inspiron 16 7630 2-in-1

As the subject implies, I cannot find a way to pair the PN5122W with my Inspiron 16 7320 2-in-1 (w/ UHD).  The system is completely up to date according to SupportAssist.  I've installed the DPM and have no option for the pen.  Any suggestions on this?

It seems like you're encountering an issue with pairing a PN5122W device with your Dell Inspiron 16 7630 2-in-1 laptop. The PN5122W appears to be a specific device, possibly a wireless peripheral or an accessory. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check Compatibility: Make sure that the PN5122W device is compatible with your Dell Inspiron 16 7630 2-in-1 laptop. Check the device's documentation or the manufacturer's website for compatibility information.

  2. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your Dell laptop. You can usually do this by pressing a dedicated Bluetooth button on your laptop or by going to the system settings and enabling Bluetooth from there.

  3. Put PN5122W in Pairing Mode: Some devices require you to put them in pairing mode before they can be discovered by other devices. Check the device's manual for instructions on how to do this.

  4. Search for Devices: On your laptop, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices. This might involve opening the Settings app, going to the Bluetooth section, and clicking on "Add a device" or a similar option.

  5. Reset Bluetooth: If you're having trouble with pairing, you might want to reset your laptop's Bluetooth settings. This can sometimes help clear up any issues. You can usually find a "Reset Bluetooth" option in your laptop's settings.

  6. Update Drivers: Ensure that your laptop's Bluetooth drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause pairing issues. You can download the latest drivers from the Dell support website.

  7. Restart Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can help resolve connection issues. Try restarting both your laptop and the PN5122W device and then attempt pairing again.

  8. Forget Device and Retry: If you've previously attempted to pair the devices and it didn't work, you might need to "forget" the device in your laptop's Bluetooth settings and then try pairing again from scratch.

  9. Contact Support: If you've tried the above steps and are still having trouble pairing the devices, you might want to reach out to the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.

Remember that specific troubleshooting steps might vary depending on the type of device you're trying to pair and the software setup on your laptop. Always refer to the device's manual and your laptop's documentation for accurate instructions.

The specs for that pen state, no pairing required.  There is a more advanced pen (the PN7522W) that does support pairing -- the confusion may be that the software for pen support doesn't differentiate features among the pens.

Does the pen not work at all (without being paired)?
