5490 AIO used as external monitor resolution limited to 1360 x 768

Question

When I work from home I connect the hdmi output from my Latitude 5530 to the hdmi input of my Inspiron 5490 AIO and use it as an external monitor. However the maximum resolution I can set on the laptop (Windows 11) for the 2nd screen is only 1360 x 768. Why is this when the max resolution on the AIO is 1920 x 1080? Any advice or suggestions gratefully received. Many thanks.

To troubleshoot if restricted bandwidth was the problem, test with a different high quality cable.  Or test with a USB-C (laptop) to HDMI (AIO) cable, connecting to thunderbolt port on the left side of your laptop.
