Dell Inspiron 3020s - Shutdown Timings

Recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 3020s.

I've noticed that when you go to shut it down, it tells you it's shutting down, the monitor goes off, but the lights on the tower itself can say on from anything between 3-45 seconds?

Not sure what's causing this, or if it's normal?

Everything is up to date in terms of Bios/Drivers/Windows etc. Fast Startup is also disabled by using terminal.

Anyone any suggestions, or is this just a normal Intel thing?

@redxps630

Turns out it was the USB printer connected that was causing it. Removed that and it's back to instant shutdown.

That is perfectly normal. The message you see is just software shutdown. To completely power down can take that much longer time.  just ignore the tower power button light.
