Will this adapter be working on optiplex 7050/7060?

You say the 7050 has a 8 pin connector, but I have an Optiplex 7050 minitower and it has a 6 pin conector. I am thinking about replacing the PSU with another PSU although it will require modding the case. My 7050 does have a 6 pin power connector. Will the Moddiy 24 to 6 pin adapter work?

this adapter work on Dell Vostro 3668 (Intel i5) and does this work with any PSU like (Cooler Master Elite P500, Energon EPS-550W , Aerocool LUX RGB 550W etc)?

Will this work for the Optiplex 7070 ?

7070 also uses 6 pin

DOES NOT work for 7070.  Number of pins is not a standard.  CPU connectors are NOT GPU connectors 6 or 8 pin.

AFAIKT nobody makes adapter for 7070 , 7080 , 7090.

Sorry, I know it’s an old thread, but I just bought Modis’s 7050 adapter after seeing it listed here and without doing proper research. 7050s are 6pin and not 8 pin! So, the 6 pin adapter they sell for 3050 should be the same for 7050. However, that 6 pin adapter is straight through without the 12v-sb. The 8 pin adapter (I think that should be for 7020 series and not 7050 as listed) does has the 5v-sb to 12v-sb converter. Has anyone tried using that with the 6pin adapters?
