Your gold BCV copy (GBCV in short) is a bcv in remote DMX.
Your disk group contain a STD device (0A5), a couple of local BCV devices (0F7 and 0FB) and a remote BCV (BRBCV001 AKA 089) in a different box, one SRDF hop away.

When you export your DG, you dump a description of the DG in a file. The file contains everything you need to rebuild the DG itself. Thus it contains box serial numbers, symdevs, their logical name... S.E. needs to know also the "role" of each symdev you have in the DG. The label isn't enough since you can change the label at your will. So you have the first letter that identifies the role (STD/BCV/BRBCV/TGT) in the DG. That's it.
