Corrupt label; wrong magic number
Dear all, We are running more Sun Solaris server with EMC storage. we are getting this "Corrupt label; wrong magic number" on the gatkeeper device and alos in some other devices. in the messages file all the time, which basically kill our monitoring system.
1) Can any one suggested that is harm to the server, we are planning to unmonitor these alerts.
2) Is there any break fix for this issue.
3) If not gate keeper device please suggest as how to check the corrupted device.

I fixed the issue "Wrong Magic Label "
Steps for the resolving "Wrong Magic label" Solaris host.
1) Check the affected gatekeeper device.
2) Check the device details from the server where the SE got installed.
symdev -sid 1234 list
Check the device is WD is yes follow the below steps.
symcfg -sid 1234 rw_enable -SA all ----- this will write enable the device in all the directors.
3) If the Gatekeeper device is WE and try to label the drive by format command.
4) Perform this operation from the server where you have installed the solution enabler.
********* This worked Perfectly fine - This fix helped my monitoring system to be stable ******************************
