Ok .. HPUX requires Volumeset addressing enabled (cross check with the other box that's working fine).

You have to either

1) change FA configuration to enable V (volumeset addressing) or
2) use symmask set hba_flags to enable V for your HBAs

symcfg list -sid 123 -FA 8a -p 0 -v

substitute for your FA/port and SID

You can dump flags for a given processor with the following command:

symcfg -sid 1234 -FA 03A -P 1 -v list

You can easily find the flags Dynamox mentioned ... :D

Dynamox, Stefano Thanks a lot ,

Stefano was right for HBA flags this works for me

2) use symmask set hba_flags to enable V for your HBAs ---> " the problem was i set Volume_Set_Addressing like hba_flag then just change this for "V" for each HBA wwn. "

It is great to have the support of the best Engineers in this forum.

I can see the disks now.
