Unable to connect ISCSI for MD3200i

Hello,

I'm having a lot of problems trying to connect this MD3200I via ISCSI. I have All 8 ports on the MD3200i controller connected to our R510 server. The IP addresses are below:

In-band

192.168.130.101

192.168.131.101

192.168.132.101

192.168.133.101

192.168.130.102

192.168.131.102

192.168.132.102

192.168.133.102

Out of band

192.168.1.30

192.168.1.31

All the subnet mask's are 255.255.252.0

I have the ISCSI target name of the storage array but when I go to connect via my server, I get "No Such host is known"

I messed around with the IP address in the Modular Disk Configuration Utility and saw that the target name was reconnecting.....but then it gets stuck there. I tried to remove and add it back in but I still get the same error.

When I go through the sets in the Utility, everything seems to work but when I create the ISCSI sessions, I get "Create 0 sessions".

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.

Hello WitteIT,

Is you’re MD3200i direct connected to your R510 server or is there a switch in the middle that both your MD3200i & your R510 server is connected to? Also is what the IP of your R510 server is?

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello, thanks for replying. My MD3200I is directly connected to my R510. I am using the default IP of 192.168.130.101, etc. I can ping it from the R510 but the iscsi target wont connect.
