SNMP Traps for PowerVault NX3610

As per the documents I picked up the MIBs from the FluidFS web gui but it is still not translating the OIDs that are being sent via the traps. The files I have are FluidFS-MIB.txt and FluidFS-Traps-MIB.txt, example OIDs being half translated are:

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.8010.21

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.8010.21.2.66

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.8010.21.2.65

Can anyone steer me in the right direction, I suppose the MIBs I have used do not have the necessary info to translate the oid's.

Thanks!

@Zanz76,

Sorry for the delayed response.  From what I have been able to uncover about this, in the older versions of FluidFS, Previous to version 4, the OID in the MIBs is 8010 which is a legacy FluidFS OID.  The Dell OID is 674.  This is addressed in version 4.x of the FluidFS firmware, but of course the NX3610 doesn't support V4.x.

However, there is a possible work around.

In you downloaded MIBs you may modify the line defining the dell OBJECT IDENTIFIER, which will show as 674, and change it to 8010.

dell         OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { enterprises      674  }

I hope this helps.
