Can I hot-add MD1200 enclosure to a running MD3600f storage system?
Hi,
I have a storage system with a MD3600f and two MD1200 enclosures. Now I want to add one more MD1200. Can I do it without turning off the system?

Hello salazar35,
With the MD3xxx series of units when you are adding an extra enclosure to the system the MD3xxx & any MD1000/1200 will need to be powered down before adding the new enclosure. If the new enclosure is added while the system is up the new enclosure is not seen until the controllers have been rebooted in the MD3xxx system.
