Equallogic PS6110XV controller not booting after replacement
Hello.
we had an issue with one controller battery and we replaced the battery successfully.
after that the other controller was alarming about the battery so we restarted it
after the restart it didn't come boot up anymore.
we replaced the controller (swapped the SD card) and we get this msg. in console:
SP [secondary]:1649859235.59:ppool_nvram.c:388:WARNING:15.3.1:NVRAM contains valid data. This is a CONTROL MODULE FAILOVER.
SP [secondary]:1649859445.60:ppool_nvram.c:396:ERROR:15.4.1:NVRAM contains valid data. This is a PANIC RECOVERY due to a panic on a NetBSD processor.
b2b_shutdown_link: Secondary exceeded b2b link reboot count
anybody have an idea?

Hello,
The only way to be sure, is connect a serial cable to the secondary controller. To gather more specific errors. Off hand it looks that that replacement CM is also bad.
It's also possible that CM was taken from a system that was not properly powered down and there is cache data from that old system.
Regards,
