Change management network IP Address
I have a new to me EqualLogic 6100 and I need to change the management network IP address. The current setup is as follows.
eth0 10.50.50.10
eth1 10.50.50.20
eth2 10.50.50.30
eth3 10.50.50.40
eth4 192.168.3.91
I need to change eth4 to 192.168.4.91 but when I attempt to make the change I receive the following error:
Error - There must be at least one member network interface on the same subnet as the management address
The system is currently working within a production VM environment so I cannot make any changes to the other IPs

Hello thanks for choosing Dell.

eht4 = management

Once you go set the management IP, the Group IP won't work so we go with CLI.

Hello,
Those links only apply when you first set it up.
Disable Mgmt Port then re-configure
First connect to the serial port of the active CM.
Disable the Mgmt feature entirely
Then you can either set it up at serial port CLI or connect to the iSCSI network and use the discovery address to start the Java GUI.
Then you can use the GUI to enable Dedicated Mgmt feature again
Regards,
Don
