YubiKey 5 with ThinOS?

We are experimenting with using YubiKey 5 with Dell Wyse 3040 and Dell Optiplex 3000 thin clients. They are running most recent versions of ThinOS and connecting via Horizon broker 7.13.3 to instant clone desktops. We're hoping to allow the Yubikey to pass through to the VDI Windows 10 session for internal webapp SSO authentication. It works on a test desktop pool from a regular Windows Horizon client with USB sharing installed but not from ThinOS. We have tried a variety of USB sharing, splitting, force USB settings without luck. On the regular Windows Horizon client, the Yubikey shows as a USB Composite, HID Keyboard and smart card in the VDI session device manager. The Yubikey shows as being attached in ThinOS from the event log on the thin client but never in the VDI session. I see that Dell does not show VMware as being supported (Blast/PCoIP) for Yubikey 5 but am still curious nonetheless if anyone has had luck implementing these keys.
