Dell Command Update delay in detection

Here's what we noticed with Dell Command Update 4.7.1 (DCU) on our machines (Latitude 5520). When critical BIOS versions are released, DCU always lags in detecting and therefore installing.
E.g. January 12, 2023, a critical BIOS version has been released by Dell. This can be installed via the Dell site and Windows Update, however DCU version 4.7.1 indicates that the Latitude 5520 machines are up-to-date. The BIOS version on the systems is 1.24.3. Despite a manual check for BIOS updates in DCU (BIOSUpdates is checked for update type). How come Dell Command | Update is not detecting this critical update?
