Warranty Period Started Way Back Before the Server is purchased

Guys my company bought PowerEdge R740 from a Dell partner last week in and when we check it over the Dell website for parts only a warranty, it says it started around June 2021, while the server is bought in September 2022. Could not get hold of the supplier for clarification. 

Do you have any clue about this?
