PowerEdge 720xd Perc710p mini SAS HDD compartible disks

Hi! We have PowerEdge 720xd with Perc710p mini RAID controller Now we need to buy 4 new hdd to make new virtual disk. Documentation of Perc710p mini says that it supports 6gps SAS interface. What happens if we buy HDD with 12gps SAS. Is it compatible with our RAID controller. Could you recommend compatible SAS hdd from 600GB storage volume for us. Thank you.
