ECS Monitoring SNMPv3/Redfish
Is there any support in ECS for Redfish and if so are there any guides?
Also is there any extensive documentation on SNMPv3? I have v3 set up and I get the traps. But in my monitoring solution all I'm really able to do is ping the device to see that it's up. I don't seem to be able to pull any metrics or see any hardware information. Unless of course this is just expected.
I know there's an extensive amount of monitoring builtin with the Grafana dashboards and what not. I'd much rather leverage my enterprise solution for this information if that's at all possible.
Thank you

Hello wwwillster07,
Redfish is not supported in ECS. Here is a couple of links for SNMPv3 monitoring that may be of assistance.

sudo rm /etc/snmp/ecs-template-snmpd.conf
the rm command should removes files.

Thanks. I'm not a linux person, thought I could follow this, but created sudo cp /etc/snmp/ecs-template-snmpd.conf /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf as specified first, but there's really not a clear explanation in that doc on what should actually be in that file. Since it wasn't there before, how do I remove it?
