Access ECS S3 Bucket with STS AssumeRole
Hi,
Do you know how to access Dell ECS S3 Bucket with AssumeRole instead of IAM credentials? I want to switch user via a role and try cross account access with STS assume role like below:

Hi Josh,
I did the steps and it is time to test now. But how can I test it? There is no option in S3 Browser, Winscp etc to switch role or to access Dell ECS via AssumeRole.

Maybe something in here https://dell.to/3S6ENo3
You may want to call phone support.

I'm having a similar issue. I can see how to set all the various roles and policies in the ECS dashboard but I can't figure out how to actually request assumption of the role from any sort of client. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? The AWS CLI only ever seems to contact 169.254.169.254 which is not something I have setup on my cluster as it isn't hosted in EC2.

Hello bigdave.schulz,
If you have tried all steps listed above, then I would open a support case so that we can look into your issue.
