External USB sound cards
Thanks to everyone who responded to my post about a missing sound card driver. I noticed that they also make USB external sound cards. I take it they are just plug and play devices that you plug into the USB port. If i can't get the driver to work right when downloading it, what is everyones experience with these external USB sound cards?

The only one I recommend DOES NOT NEED Drivers for OSX or for Windows.

This external sound card will work even if you have issues as I do with an error message of "no audio device"?
