Dell inspiron desktop: error message ending in 32

I bought my desktop in March.  (Have had the hard drive changed TWICE and the motherboard once.  Both times the hard drive was replaced, software was corrupt.  Operating system corrupt, also.  I am reluctant to have things replaced yet again because it is so difficult to get it up and running properly and to reinstall everything.)

I digress.  This morning, I could not boot the computer.  After several tries, it finally booted but the error messaged flashed that in early attempt to boot, it had failed at (several zeros and then the number 32.)  Of course, the message doesn't stay on long enough to get the whole thing.  I am thinking motherboard battery.  The technician on chat asked me what happens now when I reboot.  While, I didn't want to reboot for fear it would not start up again. I was right.  I had difficulty starting it up.  It doesn't take as many tried to get it to boot as it did this morning, but still won't do it on the first try.  And it takes about five minutes whereas before it took less than a minute for my log in screen to appear.

Any ideas what I should do?  In previous calls to tech support for the issues with the corrupt software and hardware, I got the run around and it was an extremely stressful situation each time.  I am reluctant to have anything replaced again since the new software they send will most likely also be corrupt and I will also have to go through THOSE hoops again.

Does it sound like the motherboard battery?  What is the error message ending in 32?  My hardware is under warranty until 2017.  (I would expect them to install it.  You would think they would get sick of sending technicians out here.)  I am really regretting my decision to buy a Dell computer over this.

I would politely ask for a replacement computer before the one year warranty runs out. The extended warranty in effect after the first year probably would not cover a replacement.

This is a user to user forum. Post your exact model computer for help from other users. The $3 motherboard battery-- usually CR2032- is not the problem. That just remembers bios settings and date and time when the computer is off and was most likely replaced with the motherboard replacement. You could easily replace that yourself if you want to and if you can do it safely by following the directions in the manual. Buy it anywhere hearing aid and watch batteries are sold. The symptoms for a failing battery is the Date and time will not be correct and cannot be corrected.
